For DAYS the weather forecast for my ground squirrel hunting area in Central Oregon has been CLEAR SKIES and NOW two hours before this morning's departure it's "Widespread Haze". Forest fires suck.

I am going anyways taking bikes ,trout gear, and air rifles. The accommodations are a nice "cabin" (decent house) on one acre with almost no other residences around it so the guns can 'stretch their legs' a bit, WooHoo.

I've been there in the smoke, many times, and the sky is yellow, it's odd.

Taking my favorites:
Taipan VL .25
RTI Prophet Performance Compact .22
Hill EC 3000 compressor.

Even if it have been a considerable number of years since i have been flailing any of my fly rods :)

I also concur on getting "out of Dodge" actually i advocate at least to all young folks i meet, to get the hell out of their country, and meet other people and cultures, to see what you got at home VS what other people have to deal with.

Though as a Dane,,,,,, this have made me quite miffed about my nationality, and what i get for the substantial taxes we pay.



I might get my Maverick this week,,,,,,, pretty exited, even if i will take it no longer than my friends field, but there is a fire pit there, so i could pitch camp if i wasent so old and lazy.

Hi. I definitely get out in the woods and deserts. I visited China twice in 2019 and can tell you with CERTAINTY that having our U.S. Constitution and the wealth we enjoy is AWESOME.

I hope your Maverick comes ASAP and excellent order.
