Any .177 Slug Shooters?

I was hoping to put a slug barrel on my DreamTac, but I see no FX slug barrels in .177

Perhaps I can get a barrel made for my Raptor mini...

the NSA 12.5 grain slugs shoot very accurately even at lowly 760fps out of 300mm 177 FX barrels. Definitely give them a try. I also found polishing the choke with JB bore paste helps along with a carbon liner sleeve really helps too.

Unfortunately I read this after dark today , but I do have an assortment of NSA's in .177. I tested them all in the 500mm STX barrel with not so good results. Never thought of trying them in the 300mm.

Today I had the opportunity to shoot all he .177 NSAs I have, and the 12.5s were ok, they were second best, but -THE NSA 15.5s!!! Perfection! 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards. Thanks qball, never would even have tried the 300mm barrel had you not mentioned it. Slugs shoot better than out of the 500mm barrel.

Having said that, I am only somewhat satisfied; I am still out to find a gun that will shoot the 21 grain NSAs accurately.

Looking for something with 1 in 12 twist to stabilize heavy slugs. Have some custom barrels in route from Russia for testing. If it works 25gr in .177 would be 60ft/lb, high bc and high wind resistance. Don't know why the manufacturers aren't catching on.

I shoot the 13,43 Knockout slugs well out of my FX Crown gen 1 with a 600 mm superior liner.

Speed around 940 fps,

Very accurate just after the barrel is cleaned,

If I dont lube the slugs the barrel should be cleaned very often. With lubed pellets, cleaning not a big issue.

And in my Redwolf HP waaaau Impressive accurate at 1000 fps.

The small 10.03 I cant get to shoot at all in the same set up.

My Avenger shoots the 10.03 very well out to about 70 - 80 yards even with good wind.
