I shoulda' known by the barrel length. The Boss is a few inches longer than the Royale. I own both (the Royale in .25 cal), however, neither has a moderator. The shrouded barrel is effective in controlling the report. Those rifles are sweet. They are extremely accurate and the lever action is buttery smooth.

I am now a bullpup convert. Consequently, my rifles suffer from extreme negligence.
