Anschutz 2002 air cylinder leak ???

Anyone have any experience with this problem? It is leaking from the holes in the cylinder itself not in the end plugs.

In my simple mind I should be able to drain the air pressure out and remove the plugs replace orings and be good to go.

But not having any idea what is in there l thought that I would check to see if anyone else has worked on one of these cylinders. I hate to buy a new one if I can repair this one.

Someone will help you. IU do know a few of thjose tubes were recalled, might be worth checking the serial number just in case you can grab a free one.

Checked. That was for aluminum cylinders mine is stainless steel.

I talked with Pilkington and they told me that they don’t work on the air cylinders and neither does Anschutz. The cylinder should be replaced. They did have a recall at one point. I don’t have the serial number info anymore. If you have one that is part of the recall, they should honor that and send you a new one. Call Pilkguns and maybe they can give you some help.
