I think this is gauge number four for my Yong Heng compressors. I thought these gauges were garbage but, I have noticed, most times I replace a gauge that the high side check valve has been bad as well. So, I am starting to think that the two are related and I should start changing out my check valve o-ring every six to eight months or so and see if the gauge still dies or not. This one actually blew the rubber plug out of the gauge and cracked the glass when it gave up the ghost.
Also found a smallish leak in the dowty seal on the high pressure block. That is how I stumbled on the bad check valve. Took me about 15 minutes to replace the gauge, check valve o-ring and Dowty seal and was an easy thing to do. Charged my Ninja tank up to 4200psi for a check so everything is good again. Simple to werq on these things are.
