Another Wildcat or BobCat?

I'm thinking of selling my current pesting gun and looking to get one of the two. Either the Bobcat or another Wildcat in .177 . I'll be using it in the back yard and would like to be able to turn it down a bit, so that points me to the Bobcat because it is adjustable. However, if I just shoot 16 gr pellets in the WC it will bring it down to mid 800's.
I'd like to hear what you guys think. Some of you have owned or shot both. I currently have a WC in 25 but it is just way overkill in my 20 yard kill zone. I'd like to go 177 and kill'em with kindness.. LOL

I have two wildcats (.22 and .177) and two bobcats (.25 tuned to 60 FPE by ER and a .30).

The Wildcat in .177 is awesome. http://www.airgunnation.com/topic/new-arrival-fx-unicorn/

My opinion is the Bobcat is rather large, long, and heavy form factor for .177 or .22. But thats just me.

The wildcat comes tuned from factory at 19-20 FPE. You could ask the dealer to turn down the hammer spring some before shipping it to you. Despite 20 yards, I believe the factory tune would be just fine. Mine prefers the AA or JSB 10.34s and shoots them around 920s avg fps. Squirrels beware! And it's incredibly quiet with a Huggett Belita.

Ahhh, but depends on what you intend to use it for. Yes, the Bobcat is larger and heavier, but that’s what makes it a great BR platform. Plus I’d think for most men it’s not too big or heavy, unless you’re “size challenged”. Mine is .30 cal which has the longer pressure tube, and it handles fine plus it’s easy to shoot off hand. Plus as you said, it does have the adjustable power, which comes in handy... It is humorous that “big and heavy” is mentioned regarding BC but you never hear that about all the RAWs, even though they are bigger and heavier than the BC. Knowing you and what you want it for I’d say Bobcat. PS., you could use the Sumo on either WC or BC. I have a Ronin on my .30 BC and it’s not mouse fart but ground squirrel fart quiet. ;)
