Another vineyard with Gerry52

Gerry and I took out to a new vineyard permission this morning and did pretty good. It started off pretty fast with both of us getting 2 squirrels each in about 15 minutes of setting up, but then it slowed down. 1 here 1 there, but constant shooting on the cleared area in the photo. The house in the distance is over 350 yards away and both Gerry and I were shooting 22 cal rifles. Gerry was shooting a bobcat and of course I was shooting my mini crown.

Then we moved down into the grapes and proceeded to schwack a bunch of squirrels in the rows. We had some wind to deal with as you can tell with the streamer on my rifle.

We ended up with 28 Ground squirrels serving them up on a grassy platter for this guy who was waiting patiently.

It was a great morning hanging out with Gerry, schwacking a few squirrels, and of course this big Turkey Vulture.

Shoot straight, be safe, and have fun while you are doing it. I know I am 😎

I'm such a fortunate man! I get to shoot with the likes of Tony, Mike & Nick (Pesty3782, Centercut & Socaloldman respectively) great guys & GREAT shootists. Basking in the California sun & repeatedly hearing the SCHWACK of ending Ground Squirrels & rabbits existence is so addictive. In the time we've known each other we must have taken out thousands of varmints on the properties we hunt. The gift of airgunning keeps on giving in ways I never expected. More fun than an old man is supposed to have! Hope this summer will hold more of these adventures in store. THANKS for today Tony!
