Another rat bites the dust!!!

I thought I got rid if my rat problem a week or so ago but my security camera pointing to a small gap between my wall and the tool shed tripped again last night. I saw the 2 round ears in the preview picture on my phone and jumped out my chair to grab my trusty rat CQB weapon the 1701P. Had to hurry up to load a pellet and mount the red light, slowly creep around the corner and at the very end of the gap I saw a round shape in the shadow, knowing where the POI is from last rat I squeezed the trigger. Since it’s only 6 feet away it’s hard to tell if the pop I heard was from the impact on the rat or just the muzzle blast. Heard it ran for about 15 feet along the wall and stopped so fairly confident that I shot it. Took me about 3 minutes to finally find it under one of the bushes wiggling, clearly immobilized by the first shot. For good measures and practice I shot it with the 4 extra pellets I had in my pocket, very happy that I do have my POI figured out and made a pin cushion out of that rat like the last one!😂

hopefully I won’t have to deal with these yucky rodents again soon but if they do show up again I’ll be very ready!!!

I need to get off AGN. I read “rabbit” and clicked on the title’s hyperlink from the home page. Terrible, isn’t it? But not as terrible as the impact from your hail of lead on the vermin. Nail those bastards! What’s attracting them? Are they coming in out of the cold or what?

My guess is it’s a safe passage for them since it’s only about 3-4 inch wide. Also there is a small pipe that always drips water from condensation of HVAC system so I assume they it’s one of their water sources but it’s raining out so not 100% why but at least I know a spot they like to be and it’s a good ambush location!
