Another question, forgive me Im learning. 'Airgun Scopes'

Just curious, does every apply a loctite of some sort on the scope top cover bolts?

My bottom is a welded on Picitin rail, and the bottom scope mount attach from the side, so Im guessing that doesnt need a loctite.

I don't apply anything to the scope screws. Never had problems with them coming loose either. Using Loctite would make maintaining the rifle more difficult, so no, I don't use.

I don't use anything also , but make sure you use the correct torque spec & sequence for the rings & rail because you can damage your scope . the spec's are sometimes on the box or can be found on the internet . I use a wheeler fat wrench ( torque driver ) from sportmans ware. for mine .

I am a Loc-Tite guy on my break-barrels, but I don't go crazy with the stuff. Use just enough to keep things snug. It doesn't take but a tiny swipe.

this is sound application.

IF, you choose to use some thread locking medium, use a weak one such as loctite purple
