..........hey ............ I live in a residential area with a wildlife corridor behind my home. I am very tolerant with all the different critters including, Mountain Lions, Bobcats, Javelinas and the of course the millions of rabbits and lizards big and small, they don't bother me. But what I can't stand is pack rats and pocket gophers or sometimes called ground squirrels ........... dont be so tolerant (wel, i'm not anyway)....... those ground squirrel ripped my grandfolks alfafa borders that held the irrigated water all night.............. ruined roads and crops.... you wana pcp , tho ? if you have 40-55-65 yrd to stretch , maybe thatd be proper. i.m spoiled on piaston guns and old american walnut pumpers...... welcome. (dont feel bad - someone will prolly run over em if you dont plink em). - paul.

let us know what is your budget as that will help narrow down which gun is best suited for your need.
for pesting, a .22 cal is probably better than a 177.
