I was taking a lunch break sitting on my covered back porch when I spied the tailed interloper moving towards my yard. I had one of my varmint rigs sidelined for quick deployment. I had to patiently wait about 10 minutes for him to move from the "off limits" neighbor's yard to mine. He was on the ground so a dirt backstop was guarantied. I used a Wolverine R .177 with an FX 10.3 grain domed pellet that I have setup for HFT. I just shot once as he didn't move after that hit. It was at almost 25 tards exactly. I just put a Maven RS.1 on the rifle last night and took it to the range to center in - I use 25 yards as my zero for HFT. I had no problems hitting targets between the 10 and 55 yard ranges. I have to say that the glass is superb in the scope.
