Nice job Dave! Haven’t pulled the trigger yet this year. Had lots of chances durning both bow and gun season. Had 3 small bucks and 5 does within 20 yards last night. But waiting on the big one! I like that we can use the AG durning muzzle loading and late doe season down here. My boy comes home from VA. For 2 weeks. Will be pulling the trigger on something then for sure. Nice solid video too!

No slug yet.. I took Her to my Processor told him to save the slug for me.. I didn't want to cut up the deer to much and make his job harder..

What speed and energy? And how far out would you have confidence shooting a deer as far as energy is concerned?

i have shoot deer out to 70 yards but there are a few people on here that have taken deer at well over 100 yards.. my 457 is set up to shoot 283gr around 840 fps 430fpe.. this deer was only about 40 yards.. i have the Texan 50cal im going to set up for 75 to 100 yards for late doe season lol
