Yup. I must live right, or I'm one of the very few that put any value on these rifles? Anyway, A buddy and fellow Admin on the Facebook Airgun groups was given this one. He knows I love these little rifles, so he gave it to me. Free. Interesting that we're both of German decent and he sent it to me in a Stoeger box?! It's a 760 Powermaster, variant 4, built January 1977. So here then, are a few pics of it...
Serial number shows build date of January 1977;
A couple scrapes on the lower receiver side, but acceptable;
And here, after a rub-down with Rem-Oil and my old, period-correct 70's Weaver V22-A Dual X mounted;
This example has some heft to it! It feels heavier than my 760 variant one, 6/70. Not a bad thing though. It should make it steadier? But she looks darn good for being 41 years and one month old!
