Hello all. I have an issue with my new ( 1/17/22 ) AGT Uragan .30 Caliber. I have aired up the rifle to 290 bar. Shot 50 Grain JSB s out of it over my chronograph. The results were dismal... 188 to 196 FPS. Waiting on a return email from Krale. Any thoughts and/or suggestions are welcome. Thanks, Dave.

Could it be that your chronograph is set to MPS instead of FPS. I've actually done that on my Caldwell a few times. Even if that was the issue it would still be a low speed. Just observing the sound and sight of the pellet does it appear to be that slow?

Definitely slow, I watched it in mid flight. I shot a pillow twice and they bounced off it with no damage. I am sure it was on FPS.

Daum 200 FPS, thats sub - sub 12 i recon.
My FAC maverick also shot slow, though not that slow but still sub 600 FPS with 13.43 grain MRD, sadly i did not test what speed the lighter heavies was running at, but make me think FX tested with lighter pellets,,,,,, which i could understand with a sub 12 gun but a FAC one i would test with something like 13.43 grain, or 10.34 at the very least.
it do make me think after waiting for 6 months, maybe FX found some sub 12 guns, and slapped something together in a hurry to please a few Danish shooters, also got the gun with a ALU bottle but have not gotten the carbon bottle, and got to keep the ALU one.
Moving my pellet shooting to what i hope is a more forgiving barrel system ( CZ ) on another gun.

You were getting me nervous as my new Uragan's scope rings arrived yesterday and today's initial testing was delayed due to rain. Just fired a few off the porch into the ground and seemed plenty potent. Have you noticed air escaping from breech area, as in a missing "0" ring? I've read of the tissue paper test where it's placed around breech area and if disturbed at firing, might signal problem. Just a thought, WM

Barrel can slide foward choking off the port, hammer spring was never adjusted, bad reg, just to name a few. Its probably something simple, but Im sure they will make it right! Sorry to hear this, its such a great gun! Pull the mag and make sure the shoulder of the barrel is flush with the body. Is the cocking lever have a decent amount of pressure?
