I finally did it. After a 1 year hiatus from air gunning I finally took the plunge. Albeit not a huge plunge.
I received my first pcp today. I went on the cheap side, admittedly so the wife didnt kill me, but I am excited none the less. And if course the wife looked at me like I was nuts when I pulled it out of the box, smiled, yanked the stock off and proceeded to drill a hole in my brand new rifle ( for the swivel stud of course).
I cant wait to go out and shoot. I bought 500 rws super h points as I heard these guns like them pretty well and I was expecting a break-in period ( coming from the world of springers), I have since found out that there isnt much of a break-in for pcps, but you can never have too many pellets. I also have a straight shooters sampler on the way.
I will say I was suprised at the effort required to pull the bolt back, not sure if thats normal, maybe some disco owners could chime in on that one?
