Other American made springers

Are there any American made springers worth 2 cents any more ? I have introduced a friend to this hobby recently, and he asked for referrals of something made in the states in the 400-500$ range. I'm drawing a blank. I have two Sig ASP20 rifles that we spent all afternoon and evening in friendly competition. He fell in love with those, but obviously they are no longer available, and I am NOT selling mine. Suggestions of any USA made springers that still have some quality ???

Unfortunately not. The best choice for a 400-500$ rifle would be a Weihrauch. Buy once, cry once.

I have one:

The BB gun of my youth I am almost thinking of buying one .
I bought two of the Chinese Model 25s.
One for me and one for my partner in Kansas.
I sent mine back without firing it.
I found this old timer a couple of years ago.
On the reverse it still has the factory gold sticker..
Good shooter..
I had my 1958 Model 25 until it died in 2005.
It traveled the world with me…Three 13 month tours in Korea, 12 months in Vietnam and five years in Berlin…and numerous assignments here in the USA, of course.

Hi - as a first airgun, can highly recommend looking for a used Beeman (Weihrauch) R1 or RX1/RX2 - I have an .20 RX1 that wife gave me 26 years ago as an anniversary present. It has never needed anything but routine maintenance and still shoots as it did when new. It has a gas ram rather than a spring. R1 similar with a spring and better trigger. I opted for the gas ram and it's advantages over the R!. Used one should be in that price range - kind of American. A tack shooter. Good luck.

I'm not sure that the Elite trigger (HW90/RX1) is somehow worse than the Record.
