American Air Arms .30 cal EVOL - WOW!

Ernest gets plenty of practice time in NC and yes, he’s a threat. He would have won the Cup if he hadn’t had one shot go astray.

Agree with Derrick. We watched him shoot at RMAC, and he's a shooter. In the wind, anyone that shoots 25 target shots (and hundreds of sighters) and doesn't have one pellet outside the 8 ring is lucky, pure and simple... To win you need to be a good shooter with lots of patience, have good equipment and consistent ammo, but also have a dash of good luck. You just never know when although everything seems right, and the wind looks to not have changed, and your sighters are hitting close, if the wind is going to shift as you are pulling the trigger. ;( I've watched this happen to every "big name" pro shooter out there. Its like that perfect golf shot that either hits the sprinkler head or careens off the flag pole and ricochets off the green. It happens. No one wins without a dash of good luck.

Going to be giving the EVOL (and soon Slayer) a real workout. Check out the new shooting grounds! Has 300 yards clear line of sight in a couple of places and it’s minutes from where I live and work. Pinch me!!

Lol no way!!!! Sub MOA at 190yds with pellets? Fan-fricken-tastic!!

It was ridiculous. In the setting sunlight, I could see the last half of their flight, as they dropped down onto the target. If you look closely at the holes, the top (12 o’clock) is knocked out pretty good because they were coming down from the apogee of their flight, 68 inches above the POA.

The best part of today was letting my friend (an officer of the law) shoot the EVOL. He knows his way around a rifle, and was shocked how far AG’s have come since we were kids. Good stuff.
