So I got this feeder off amazon last week. It definitely brings in the tree rats. They had been avoiding my massive 22 yards of hunting grounds lately so I decided to bait them in. 1st squirrel is the victim of my .25 Taipan Veteran shorty .The second with the between the eyes gift is from my .25 Wildcat standard. I know .25 is a "little" overkill for 22 yards but need it everyother weekend when I visit a 40 acres permission an hour from me.

So whoever complained about me setting up a feeder to eliminate these "pests" he or she was way off. I never called them pests. I encourage them w this feeder to provide me w good meals periodically. The feeder "feeds" me !! . Ask next time instead of leaving me a negative remark in my accuracy rating.

stony, my friend, there's no such thing as overkill when it comes to tree rats! Dat's sum faan shootin' dere, pard ;-). (And great idea with the squirrel "feeder!" Too bad for them the only thing they're gettin' fed is lead!)

I see you own both a wildcat and taipan. Which do you prefer? I have a taipan, love it, no need for anything else but want is always there. It would be nice to read a sentence or two about your opinion owning both and what you prefer. I understand the specs and pros/cons of each but just looking for your favorite and reason why. Many of us don’t own both. Thanks.

I loved both for their crazy accuracy. My favorite feature of the Taipan was its anti-loading feature. The Wildcat won outright (since have sold the Taipan) . I just couldn't accept the rear cocking lever of it (personal preference) vs the cocking lever placement near the trigger of the Wildcat. They both were close in power so that wasn't a deciding factor. I now own a .25 Impact as well and it does everything well. Butter smooth cocking, crazy accurate , quiet, etc etc... I would love to own a Leyla or Edgun r5m one day.
