Hey guys I've been eyeballing a scope since the holidays and should have bought it over Christmas when the price dropped very low. I do see they have one very reasonably priced but it is being sold as used. It also states the packaging WILL be damaged. It will be sold by Amazon Warehouse. The price is great but I don't want to get a broken scope either. Please let me know if anyone has bought from Amazon under these circumstances. Thanks in advance.

I have purchased several scopes from Amazon Warehouse without an issue. Nothing high end though, not sure what you are looking at. I've gotten UTG and Hawke scopes from them listed as package damaged but scopes in fine shape and performed well. If its amazon warehouse it's covered by their return policy so you really have nothing to lose by ordering it.

I’ve bought two. One didn’t come in the original box, came in a different model box. Still shooting with both.

Not to mention, some scopes have lifetime warranty. So even if it is damaged, you can just send it in and they fix or replace it free.

I've bought several used things from the Amazon warehouse and they all have in great shape. This includes one bug buster and the scope looked brand new

I I was very pleases with my Bushnell 2.5x10 that was " used with original packaging". New as far as I could tell, and saved $40 with free returns. To me that = no brainer.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I ended up purchasing it this morning. 120 dollars for a 4x12x40 Bushnell engage is a steal, they normally sell for around 200-220. This will be my second one and I liked the first one so much (which I bought used from a GTA member) that I decided to get a second one to replace my 8x32x56 UTG. That rifle is going to feel so much lighter now!

Thanks to all you guys who jumped onto the thread offering feedback. I received the scope today and it is great condition. I did see some mounting marks but nothing significant. It sighted in great and the AO looks to be working perfectly. The box was not damaged at all. I couldn't have asked for a better buying experience. Plus I saved some serious coin in the process!
