Amazon Prime Day and our Hobby

Just got notified on it being prime time at Amazon for the next two days, where deals could be had. I’ve never purchased and taken advantage of the sales on this ever. Has anyone ever found or noticed anything really slashed in price in regards to our hobby? 


if so please let all know, as this may assist the new folks coming into this hobby that may be trying to score say, on a hand pump, fittings, etc. Even items such as shooting rests, cleaning consumables, or, the Yong Hengs that may get marked down in price(don’t own one, just know there’s different versions to target)

me, I myself am going to try and see if the different offerings of shoot n see targets get slashed in price as I’d like to stock back up. Don’t really need anything else.

not really, i try to deal with bezos the least amt possible lol .. best advicd i can give is research and find exactly what you want on amazon then check the item on ebay .. many times it will be the same price or lower .. and many times the same seller ...

I just bought a couple of sets of these for targets:

Quick and easy to set up at the range (I have a board pre-drilled to set them into), and best I can calculate the little colored cubes are about 3/8". Should be a fine target at 35 yards at a cost of about 3 cents each. We normally play the game where you hit the little target, and then have to cut what is left of the stick before you can move onto the next target.

These are just colored cubes, but they are cheaper than the other ones I have purchased which are skulls and other different shapes. Based on the other ones I have purchased, the sticks are just under 2mm in diameter and can be a real challenge to hit. Even tougher when your background color is similar to that of the stick.

Can be fun and challenging targets, and once folks find they can actually hit the sticks with an airgun, they tend to become hooked!

I picked up a tripod with an Arca Swiss compatible ball head. I hope I don’t live to regret it, but it was recommended to me a long time ago, and I’ve never seen it this cheap

What's the advantage for arca rail over just picatinny adapter? I got a picatinny adapter for camera mount and it's quick release so I don't see too much improvement with arca.

I dont know that there’s any advantage to arca swiss (larger, sturdier)? It’s just that a lot of tripods come with that adapter as standard now. I have an arca adapter that attaches to my picatinny rail. I can use it with my bench tripod, and now this taller one. I’m sure there are a lot of folks here that can explain the advantages better than I can. It’s really all new to me.
