Amazon Extended Warranty

I bought 3 different well reviewed pcp compressors from Amazon along with extended warranties. All three compressors didn't last to a month so I returned it. Most likely yours won't last long enough to use the extended warranty. Maybe you will be more lucky than I am but incase you have to return yours, you can ask for the refund for the warranty as well. Good luck.

I bought this compressor from amazon with a warranty. Crapped out after 6 months / 12 hours use. All the factory would say is that it was a maintenance issue. Went back and forth for 6 monhts. After 1 year I turned it in for the warranty. Was refunded to my Amazon account. you don't get cash. I don't think they offer a warranty on this unit anymore.
After that I bought an Omega Turbochager, I've had it for 14 months, 30 hours use, no problems.

Just want to add for OP's future reference, the three compressors that crapped out on me within a month are GX CS2, GX CS3 with external converter, and GX CS3 with integrated converter. With these cheap compressors, its just a matter of time before they break.

I am now going with air tank for the moment until I save enough to get the Alkin.

I have an Xisico CS3 compressor (oil filled, the first version without a sight glass) and it lasted 2 years with out an issue. I just noticed oil/grease leaking out the bottom last week hence the search for a replacement. The pump still builds pressure and Wes (from https://airgunarcheryfun.ca/jts-gx-e-cs3-compressor/) has gone above and beyond with support.

I am leaning towards the txet063 model. From reading reviews, tuxing is quick to send out parts for the customer to repair with YouTube videos on how to do the change outs. I’ve also noticed that they sell parts for there compressors.

My mind is set on Alkin or a Coltri mch6 even though my airgun collection doesn't quite justify the purchase at the moment haha. These compressors from Amazon cost less but I ended up with a lot of downtime trying to resolve issues when it breaks with delayed correspondence with manufacturers from China due to time zone differences, and spending time shipping back to Amazon, and back on the AGN forum asking opinion on another sub $500 compressor that will break. Done that three times already.

Got a notice last evening that Bill over at Target Forge ( https://targetforge.net/ ) is now listing a number of parts for the GX CS2 & CS3 compressors. My hope is that his offerings will grow as more of us begin to find those parts that have been as yet unavailable. I do not know if he is planning to sell the compressors as well or just stick with parts for now. Hopefully this will be a reliable source for those of us wanting to keep our GX compressors running rather than becoming land-fill. I have asked that he post and make available printable schematics/ parts listings for each unit type for those of us needing/ wanting visual aids and he has agreed to work on getting diagrams posted.
