Amazing coming soon??

Been at least 4 or 5 threads on the subject, just search the forum. It's also not just airgun related, it's everything. Retailers everywhere are dealing with transportation nightmares trying to get product in stores and on shelves to sell.

I know & agree but it has to be more than that. Look at all the new air rifles out there that are advalible. It seems like it has affected the pellet market more than any. With

nice weather coming soon the demand will rise & we shall see if it only gets worse?

Considering the number of European sellers that have pellets on their shelves, I'm thinking it's a very large part. I'd love to see the step by step break down of what it takes from the cargo container loaded and ready to ship, to when retailers finally get the orders on their shipping docks.

Remember: H&N is in Germany, JSB is in Czechoslovakia, so it can't be an easy trick getting them here. Air rifles available means nothing since the pellet makers don't make the rifles too.

Yes thats the question I would like to know also. I can get .25 Benjamin & Hatsan with not much of a problem. But JSB makes pellets for many others, & I think they must

be way behind on filling orders. Oh well we shall see as time goes on. I cast my own .35 slugs so I do not worry about the big bore cal's.

@fly Sound advice. The topic has been discussed to death in our forums since the supply chain issues presented by the pandemic. I’d be surprised if any new information surfaces that hasn’t been discussed or released. I’m not talking about opinions of consumers and AGN members. If you really want more concrete answers, might I suggest asking manufactures, distributors, and retailers?

Maybe you should consider casting your own pellets and slugs in .25 too since they make any number of molds for both and then AGN won't have to keep trying to answer your pellet questions, since you won't have a need to buy any...lololol.

I haven't bought pellets or slugs for any of my guns for years now, I have pellet molds for .22 cal up to .357 as well as slug molds. I've compared them against JSB's and personally if you use a pressure pour method casting them they're just as good IMO. I've hunted and killed all kinds of small game with them since mid 2016 right about the time that NOE started building pellet molds.

Just because most people cast these, there is nothing stopping you from making a press to work these and swage them into pellets. Many people do this, but normally they buy dies made specific to this type of operation. Casting molds might produce under size ammo if using a press because temperature is a factor and pressing the lead into shape is generally a colder process. But that could be controlled too, if you want to put in the effort.
