Amazing coming soon??

This is what I mean by pressure pouring, you'll never get the results casting pellets from a bottom pour pot like this. I was told this was the best method for filling out skirts on mini balls from a renowned gun shop owner this is the only way you'll ever get stuff like this done right. The man was probably one of the best gunsmiths I've ever known.

It's the pressure of the lead that's inside of the ladle that creates the pressure. When the sprue plate is hot enough, holding the the nozzle of the ladle directing in the sprue plate enables the lead to stay molten long enough for lead inside of the ladle to fill out the mold. There are people that have modified nozzles on bottom pour ladles so that you can hold the nozzle of the bottom pour directly to the sprue plate. The only way I ever get whiskers is when things are too hot for the alloy that's being pour. I only use pure lead anyway. Watch the video, it's not the lead inside of the pot that's creating pressure by no means.

NOE may call those pellet molds but if you look at them there bullet or slug molds. Bud I have made stamping & injecting molds my entire working life. I,m 77 years old

& have forgot more than you will ever know on this topic. I will not argue with you any more than I would a stump post.
