Amazed at the service I get from MPMolds

I have two MPMolds, a 25 caliber 8 cavity that I just do not use, and the 3 cavity .252 hp mold.

I always buy a spare spruce plate for my mold to have on hand, so I ordered a new Sprue plate and received it in less than a week.

At other times I have ordered spare pins and clips and received what can only be described as a care package as he sent far more items than I ordered.

I will probably sell that 8 cavity as it drops slugs a bit smaller than I need, but I will be buried with that 3 cavity, I love that little brass mold, it is like jewelry, but although I do love it, my Kral Bighorn 25 loves it more at 90 fpe.

I have that .25 mold too (I think, 46gr round nose?) And it makes a lot of slugs really fast!

My Varmint likes them, 850fps sure dumps the energy on groundhogs.

I chucked a few up in a collet on my lathe and drilled out a hollow point and my groups shrunk up quite a bit!

My biggest complaint with the 8 hole 47 grain round nose boat tail mold is how long it is. I heat my molds by setting them on the rim of my 10 lb lead pot. With that big ole mold I need to use a hot plate but that uses too much power and causes my generator to turn on. I found if I get the mold up around 375-400 it throws.252+ slugs but then again I need to use a hot plate.
