Am I the only one who is sick of bullpups?!!!

Enough is enough already! Lets see some new classically styled hunting rifles. We don't all want to look like storm troopers.

Am I the ONLY one????!!!! C'mon people lets get our whine on! haha. Anyway obviously there is no point to this thread other than to vent that I'm just sick of bullpup this and bullpup that. Thx for listening.

Problem is they are so darned handy. I went back and forth with this when I was ready to buy my first pcp. Started out drooling over Royals and Wolverine type guns but then a scoped Wildcat came to my house and drug $2k out of my pocket in a heart beat. I love the thing. Wish it had a nice wood stock but now I'm veering back your way. Now I have this giant TX 200 and I love it .... but it ain't goin hunting except out the open jeep window and even that will be a strain. I certainly got way past my Impact lust given the extra push that gun's problems ( ok ok ... some Impacts ) gave me. Can't stand wood trigger guards so I probably have a Airwolf or Wolverine in my future.

I've been airgunning for 3 years now and the bullpup craze has finally attracted me. Had know idea they would be as accurate as my carbines. So easy to grab and go ;-)
Quit fighting it and give one a try! LOL

I'm game for a good hybrid if they ever make one I can't do without ;-) The Compato just doesn't do it for me yet?

Generational? I am 58 (next week) and the Steyr AUG (.223) has been around since 1977. I will grant you it took a while for the style to trickle down to air guns.

I never got into them. I've shot several including a Cricket, Vulcan, Impact, bullboss, slayer, flex and gladius but they just never hit me. Same as the Air Force guns, I just like traditional rifles.

I'm with you blackdiesel beautiful wood on a traditional style rifle. The Daystate Regal Xl is the gun for me. I have mine in .22 . It is light and accurate and will getting it as Christmas. The boys at AOA were great to work with and will go out their way for you..

fairness I have to admit I haven't tried one. Maybe it would win me over but I doubt it. I just like traditional rifles. It took me
forever just to warm up to thumbhole stocks. Haha
Cant wait for this bullpup craze to end so we can start seeing some nice new sporters.

I have tried many Bull pups including P12, Cricket, Wildcat but none could convince me. I hate the concept of Bull pup.

Wow, to each his own, But please try one before you knock it, That way you will have more ammunition to hate them.
You know, I shot a dam Cricket and the dam bolt thing loading the pellets sucked,
And the shorty mutant, Load the dam thing up its so short no matter which way you point it to shot you end up hitting the bulls eye,
Just know sport in shooting that dam gun.
I under stand why people hate the dam things, WE just need to here the facts, from real shooters ,
I saw one of them Vulcans at a gun show , I bet it could not hit the side of a barn it was so short, I bet the pellet would drop two feet every thirty feet as short as that dam barrel was, Them bull Pups really SUCK.............

I wouldnt say Im sick of em but I do prefer traditional rifle format. I sold an excellent specimen of a pulsar after owning it for 2 months because I found out......the hard way.......that I dont like bullpups. Im glad we all have A LOT of really good options for both tho.

For me I've found my Mutant to be easier to shoot off hand than my Marauder due to my build. However on the shooting bag the marauder feels a bit easier to use. That said if I'm going out on a hunt with lots of walking involved a bullpup is going with me. Stationary hunting it will be which ever fits the requirements I need.
