Altaros Slugs and FX

Anyone tried the Altaros slugs in a FX superior heavy liner? I am specifically interested in .25 but any experience would be helpful. I want to try them for long range target shooting. The high BC is attractive but since they are so expensive to ship from Europe would love to know if anyone has tried them before I order.

I have slug liner A , and the nsa 36.2 slugs work great with a better price.

To answer your question I haven't tried them yet but ordered from them last week; awaiting delivery. I ordered in .22 though and like you want to see how the high BC will do in the superior heavy 700mm.

Once I get them I will be heading to the range to try them out. Expensive is a relative term versus what you want and my results will be different than yours but at least it will give a starting point. The BC looks incredible and with the M3 and my Maverick I feel one of them will like the new slug. I already received my tracking number for them as I ordered a couple of hundred to really get/give a true assessment...

I have a Maverick with 700mm liner. Switching to heavy liner this week. Looking forward to your report! And yes 8thman, I have some NSA that I will be trying in the new liner as soon as I get it installed. Results have been so so in the STX liner.
