Alpha nutter has his last fling

Finally got this male alpha boar nutter thats been evading eradication for some time now, he was fast and smart, never let me get a good bead on him. His reign of damage is over.....

Caught him on my nutter tree having his way with a female. He was right on top of her squawking away. Female jumped about 10' onto another tree and was out of there...

Was aiming for a high head shot but missed or he moved a little and got a low head/neck hit. To my amazement he fell off her flat on his face not a single kick. It was like a light switch, instant death like I've never seen before in small fur bearer. Not sure what I hit but think I'll aim for there now on....

22yards with my mrod @ 985 fps with Crosman premier magnum domes 14.3g

I do like the high neck shot for those less than picturesque shots - a little high and I am in the brain pan, a little low and they take it in the boiler room.

Thats a good idea, never thought of that, a little high brain pan a little low lung/heart.

You probably hit his spine and broke the connection to the legs so no kicking. I shoot for that spot often when they are on the fence in the back yard. They drop straight down, no kicking.

I occasionally see them mating in the trees here, usually when the air rifle isn't nearby. The idea of shooting through both of them while in the act has great appeal. Not just a twofer, but no babies either.
