Almost got scammed on Target Talk!

That surprises me that they can seize your money (not saying that’s not the case, just surprised). I could see other scenarios where either the funds are returned back to the buyer (transaction even if through f&f null and void) and or banning the individuals. But for Paypal to outright keep the money, that would be surprising. If PayPal did reverse the transaction, most honest buyers would pay by other means even if the item had already shipped.
I was thinking the same too about PayPal just keeping the money. But then how come eBay is able to sell air guns and accept PayPal as a payment.

Google "PayPal money seizure"

Not saying your wrong, but how does that work if people are selling on eBay, and eBay is taking PayPal as a payment method.
They are anti-gun not anti-airgun (usually). Ebay used to own PayPal so they get a pass from them, big business and all.

Do a forum search and see how many people have had money seized, held or otherwise molested due to some PayPal sjw deciding their airgun was a prohibited (by them) item. Also, large caliber air rifles are prohibited by eBay because they consider them dangerous.

It’s funny, no one reads their policies until that “oh damn” moment.

This is their acceptable use policy:

Review paragraph 2
(F) this section is arbitrary and used as their catch all if they don’t agree with your politics
(J)&(k) deal with firearms and other weapons

I’m not sure why someone would give a thumbs down on this comment. PayPal seizures are a real thing and anyone who uses PP should never EVER keep a balance with them, especially when buying or selling any kind of shooting related equipment. Heck, there have been guys on this very forum who have had their money stolen by PayPal .

I use PP because it’s convenient, but it doesn’t necessarily mean I like them or their policies. Like most large internet based firms, they tend to be enemies of freedom.

The thumbs down are coming from a user who I must of pissed off. He systematically went through and gave me thumbs down on my most recent posts. Then he blocked me from seeing his content.
