Benjamin All NEW Benjamin G3 Marauder at the PA Cup!

If that is the rifle that goes into production mine will either get a much smaller carbon bottle or a tube conversion if that is not a option. I will also cut that shroud to length and remove the fixed suppressor, just as I did on my Urban. I will not cut the barrel, as per the video the barrel is much shorter inside the shroud as is the current G2 M-Rod. I cut my shroud on two of my guns to get the length down to 39 inches and they still have an effective shroud, just not as effective. But, when quiet is the word of the day I can install my DFL suppressors.

Hopefully the synthetic stock is made of the same polymer/glass fiber material the Gamo Urban stock is made from which is excellent in feel and function.

I am sure there will be many mods available to shorten, lighten, increase power and all of that just as there are for many rifles today like the Notos, Gauntlet, FX guns and the old G1 and G2 M-Rods. it looks to be a fun rifle to mod.

I think the handle does look close to the magazine crowding the fingers but the handle also appears to be angle such that it will provide room, that is a good observation.

You know, Gamo, hey there, you could share this new platform across the Urban and Coyote. Just saying. My M-Rod bolt guns work fine and I rarely double charge, but my Urban, it is a constant worry, the bolt is too small and not tactile enough. The Urban really needs a side lever.

As to accuracy, between my current .25 M-Rods and the hammer forged .22 BSA Urban, it is a wash at 25 yards. At longer ranges the M-Rod wins because it has the power to get there and the Urban just does not.

I looked it over.
I think the charging handle is too close to the magazine.
Even the aftermarket Side lever breeches of the past had cocking handle very close to magazine. In all my years of having a said equipped G2 M-rod it has never been an issue or felt in need of a modification etc ....
Using a Tactical drop down post your cocking grip is actually beneath the mag & can see Crosman / Benjamin addressing a similar solution if clearance/s become a concern.
