My favorite is looking for an apartment in SF and seeing adds say, “this apartment is for a nice grill.” I always an image like this in an email and said, “hello I have a nice grill” but they never got it...

If you think that's funny, I'm often surprised by the lack of understanding of folk's native tongues; especially as expressed in writing. A very common misuse of written language is an apparent confusion about the terms "there", "their" and "they're". While I'm no genius and slept through most of my English classes, I have to wonder if some folks were comatose.
