Alert on red balls from me

If you have a red ball signed JD, IT’s A MISTAKE!

I, do not give red balls to ANYONE no matter what. I actually don’t like the entire thing. BOI feedback is one thing. Anonymous crybaby BS?

So if you have one from me, please ask for it to be fixed as I have already.

Stoti was smart enough to contact me. He was kind and asked if it was a mistake or I was being sarcastic. Lol. I’m never sarcastic. I’m glad he brought this to my attention.

I am trying to flush a redballer out now I would only give a - for a transaction that involved $ item not as described, damaged etc. not just because you made me mad or hurt my feelings or I don't agree with you. I am going to dance around this for awhile and give him the opportunity to debate this matter in the open before I explain what happened. Maybe then he will be less likely to dish out these red balls so freely.

AirNGasman I don't think they are signed A fellow member showed me how to see the comment that got me the reddot. In my case I happen to know who did it and am waiting on a reply openly so I can put out there what really went on for all to see. Not that redball greenball just ruins my day just can't stand folks not shooting straight. Maybe just maybe these post will make people think before trying to make them look bad by inserting said redball before shooting a email or phone call to get it straightened out. When I out this person you will see in fact I had every reason to give the infamous redball and still have not.

I put JD at end of comment. I thought I was giving a green but I absolutely never give red. Unless I feel dicked on a deal which has happened. It’s gotta be REALLY bad for me to give negative feedback.

I asked for ANY red ball given by me to be removed. If you have a red ball from a post I commented in the it was supposed to be green!

And while I’m at it, ONE thing I liked about an older gone forum was I could search for say, one word. This search makes you choose from the area it might be in & hope you know the exact wording. If I could search like that I’d read everything good & bad on subject. No need to ask what’s there to read.

Just MO on a big improvement that could be considered.

..... i just try to set an example , and signing my balls…. i'm a texan, too. also , i try to invite those that need their airgun fixed to my place and deal with them face-to-face. it's been working out much better since ive been trying to do it that way – and as a hobby thesedays. i dunno how you'd expose the red ball bandit (trolls) without help from the forum admins, anyway – and i'm sure they got enough to do already. it's hard policing, promoting, and editing a website like this with it taking over your whole life. especially if there are lots of photos involved. ...... i know in my case, it's different - because i DID screw things up very badly a while back for a lot of folks and deserve some negativity from old timers , but i never thought about someone else using my user name to sign a ball. that'd probably get you kicked off and banned from here. that's really down and dirty. – paul.

It's not fair . . . I'm red/green color-blind!
The only thing I can go by is the + and the - signs. 😃

When I first found out about these accuracy-balls, I thought it was a pretty cool idea.
It's nice to be able to hand em' out as a 'thanks' when someone helps out personally, or, has great / helpful posts.
I also use them when dealing with people through the classifieds, as it works great: Leave a quick pos feedback, then sign it.
It's cool for both parties involved, and, it also helps when others [potential buyers / sellers] are checking into someone's feedback..

Anyways.. The longer I've been here, the more I saw these threads popping up..
Some people just use the dots [negative / red] as childish payback, in spite, or just to be d**ks. That's pretty annoying / uncalled for if you ask me..

Why I still like them so much..

This is one of very few forums that I've been on that when people post, the post kicks the other posts down the list,
and the more new posts, the farther the previous posts get kicked down, until' they're lost in the eather..
That said, it's sort of a p.i.t.a. to keep track of things, and, if/when looking for people's feedback, it's near impossible.. [unless I'm bad at using the search]
So... Instead of posting member feedback that gets lost, I green-ball people, and IMO it works great. I notice other people doing that too..

I guess nothing's perfect, and people are always going to find a way to abuse stuff..

I had another thought, but lost it.. yup.. totally gone.. damn A.D.D.
