Hi Martin. Welcome to AGN. I believe that you would not need to put a regulator into the Akela. I have two other guns from the same manufacturer, and my shooting buddy has/had the Kratos. None of those need a regulator. Airguns can get to become a gee-whizz trap.

The 5 year Crosman warranty on the Akela is hard to beat.

The general question that should always be asked...what is your intention with the gun?

The wrong gun, as is the bulldog above, is not helping you within your framework. The bulldog is a .357 (9mm) gun for hunting. It would be silly for a backyard target plinker, or a high volume bird eraser. Air cost and pellet cost should be considered. I often shoot 500-200 pellets a month. We don't know what would fit your needs.

Thanks for answer,i have a bulldog ,i put a regulator on it and tj barrel and shoot very well ,i have a cricket .25 ,just i missing .22.

I know there is very good bullpup but the price is a little high for me,

I sow this two in my price range and i dont know what to by

This bulldog look really nice

if you get the zbroia you won't have the cost of the regulator for the akela , I can't commit on the Akela, but I have The Cayden and I don.t think that it needs a regulator ,at least for my needs,( NOT TRYING TO START UP A TAG POST ON REGULATORS OR STEP ON THIS POST IN REGUARDS TO REGULATORS ) BUT I get a good consistent, accurate shot string, and decent shot count . I don't know about Zbroia's warranty but the Benjamin is 5 yrs.. both are nice bullpups. The Kozak is a looker no doubt but if money is a factor buy the akela forgo the reg and buy more pellets!

I was over at a friends Friday and his .22 Akela was shooting just as tight of groups as my .22 Vulcan. Plus he was shooting the cheaper 14.3 grain crosman domes and still stacking them just as tight as my JSB 18.1 grain that my Vulcan loves.

I've never shot a Zbroia, so it could be just as good if not better. I don't think you could go wrong with either.

Good luck
