Akela pointers?

Order a Cayden with the AGN code and hope they ship a Kratos? I'm guessing people today are getting double checked on shipping orders.

I returned the Kratos to UPS last Thursday, is supposed to be delivered today (Monday). Hadn't received Akela tracking number by Friday, so sent an email got a reply today about 10 am with tracking number. UPS delivered Akela about 2. Gun looks new but have my suspicions that it is a return. The foam sheet that covers the top of the gun inside the box was missing and the air was at zero. I tried firing it, went poof must have had a little air. Added air 2000psi let it set an hour, air still up, fired 5 times, added air to 2900psi going check tomorrow. Maybe someone got this instead of a Kratos and sent it back. First order with Crosman and it has to be a PITA. That's my luck.

Benjamin made a statement a few weeks ago that guns will no longer be shipped with air for safety reasons. I'd bet it's new and not a return.

Could also be that with the screw ups that occurred for at least 3 guns that we know of, someone is opening each box and double checking to be sure they are sending out Akela's for sure. I wonder how many gun orders were screwed up that day.

2 weeks ago I ordered a .22 cal Kratos and instead got a .25 cal Kratos so apparently there were quite a few screw ups in this time frame.

The Kratos I got by mistake had pressure. I guess Crosman could have opened to check for correct model and degassed before shipping as per their new policy. If it's still has pressure in a couple of days I'm going to forget about this fiasco. Thanks for letting me vent.

I have plenty of time to check pressure, I'm too old to enjoy shooting in this, used to though.
