5o yards two different brands broadheads. Can't pull for love or money!! Going to have to find another way!!!
Look up “arrow puller.” I got this el cheapo and it’s fine for weak foam targets. @Reedmosser Doesn’t work well with bag targets. You may want to try one made of metal with a handle. If you can’t push the bolts through then you may be able to unscrew the shaft from the head(s), pull them out, mark the target where the heads are and figure out a way to fish the broadheads from the target. I’ve seen broadhead tools used to pull them out of targets. Just some thoughts. I don’t have a whole lot experience here. I shoot a Block target and a bag target. No bolt puller!! Broad heads anchored3\4 in foam. I new to this arrow stuff. Bolt puller ill have to look that up. Thanks
Yes but you do need to shoot your broad heads to check for same poi as FP. They often do notThe best thing to do with a broad head which is embedded in a target it can be pushed through is to push it through. Then you just remove the point (they unscrew you know) and pull the shaft back out the way it went in to save wear and tear on the flights..
Really you should practice with field points that weigh the same as your broad heads.
To be honest these guys are shooting arrows from a very accurate platform all they need to know is the offset. Zero with broadheads and practice with field points. Honestly I don't even see the need to practice that much with that platform but I grew up with a Red Wing Hunter in my hands and that was a very different sort of "archery".Yes but you do need to shoot your broad heads to check for same poi as FP.
