Airmaks katran owners - couple of questions

This gun shows great potential. I have a couple of questions I didn't find complete answers to. 1 -barrel / shroud , since it appears fastened only at the block is it susceptable to being bumped and resulting in POI shifts? especially the "long and XP " versions.

2 - Appears to need an adapter to mount a pic rail for a bipod , maybe a t-rail to pic adapter , seems airmaks has the accessories. 

3 - lastly , does the integrated mag holder come with all models? or just the compact version , don't see them listed in description of other models , but plainly seen with the compact version.

The mag holders are on all the new katrans the reason you see it on the compact and x hp models is because they are the newest. As far as the other models just ask the distributer before you buy because if they have had the guns in inventory for a while they will not have the mag holders but if they were just built they will have been built with the new updated butt stocks.

Also for your second question just search key mod to pic rail adapter you don't have to buy them through airmaks arms.

One thing I noticed with the tube version is with the keymod slots on the end of the forend only, they are great for bipod use but not ideal for a rail/tripod setup due to the balance point. I'm trying to find or make a t-nut that will work on the remaining oval slots.

There isn't a lot of space between the handguard and the tube, which is why Airmaks sells their own adapters. I think that most others won't fit.

The order includes an Airmaks Keymod to Picatinny 5 slot adaptor. 

I will post pictures as soon as I can get it all setup.

he uses just any old keymod to picatinny rail for the cf bottle variant and it fits.
