I have noticed very little price differences from new to used Air rifles on most airgun forums this last couple years. Is it me or do others feel the same way? Considering many of the are out of warranty or at least to the 2nd owner most of the prices I'm seeing are much higher than they use to be.

alot of times sought after guns simply arnt in stock .. that makes the preowned one look alot better for sure .. i dont expect the situation to be indefinite though, sooner or later cost of living will make them harder to sell ...

Warranties dont mean much except for the first month mabey....to many things need to be done to make the gun shoot the way you need it, which cancels any warranty.

People want, shops don't have..! Creates higher used prices by sellers seeing a chance to take advantage for more money..!

I was born and lived my working life up north near Chicago . "I want it now " is woven into me . I knew of 2 hardware store's that were open 24/7/365 , not any more they closed.
The used market prices are up on everything. I always had a rule of 50% used . unless Antique . Now people are asking maybe 90% for "only a year old " but is is my stuff so it must be made of gold ?.
Although i have moved up to 70% now , if it is more than 70% i just buy new

I think it is the whole shooting sports and guns in general that has felt the pressure. There has been a big surge lately. Pistols are the same way right now, two years ago you could get a PPK for say $450 now a used one is $675 and a new one is $800.
