Airgun while Bowhunting

I'm an avid bowhunter. Saw 5 squirrels from my stand this morning (1 small buck as well). Three of these SQUIRRELS were in the tree I was in. I've thought about taking one of my air rifles with me (it is legal) to the bow stand. Hang it on a hook in case a squirrel shows up. Of course I don't want to interfere with my deer hunting.

I had a pesky chipmunk that found me and barked for 30 minutes every time I went to a particular deer stand. I decided to take a .22lr and some cb shorts when I went to the stand again and shoot the aggravating rodent. He showed up right under my stand and I couldn't hit him to save my life(scope and angle). After several tries, I noticed a doe coming up and inquisitively searching for the source of the noise. CB shorts are quiet. She came right up under me looking for it and when she couldn't find it she left. Just to test the situation I fired a few more rounds at 30 second intervals. WOW! she came back looking again! I don't think the air gun will bother a doe, in fact you may have the same experience I had. I can't say the same thing for a buck as they tend to have one thing one their mind. However, if the doe you draw in is in heat a buck may follow. Deer are very inquisitive.
