Smacking small apples at 80yds this morning was surreal. they would explode and mist with the suns back lighting when shot. I am really glad I got a PCP as I have been shooting springers until now. 

Something about seeing and hearing the pellet travel along its flight path and smack those apples just calms me down for the rest of the day. with a side affect of wanting to shoot and doing so when I really don't have time to...

Mark, I’m definitely going to try the sugar cubes. I shoot sidewalk chalk, and have lots of little bits of chalk all over my range. The sugar won’t be as messy.

I’ve cubes are awesome too. My boys and I freeze them with a piece of fishing line in place so they’re ready to hang when we pull them out of the freezer.

Oh yes reactive targets=peace. I used to shoot these but now I usually shoot near empty paint cans at 150 yards they make a nice noise and show. Lets not forget the corn curls and tomatoes and of course the slugs yuck. So many good ideas here.

Yes, Having rows at different ranges makes for really good practice... 

Gets you used to whatever flight path arc your particular projectile has
