On the money JWR, no bs just straight up. I've used Weaver scopes for years and they are a great value with clear, bright glass and they track consistently.

I was honestly looking to get more thumbs down after not saying flattering thing s about all Hawke Scopes 
I like the last few Hawkes I had but had one I think was called a Varmint series ...What a disappointed buy

I have a Hawke Airmax 3-9x40 on my Diana 75. I Really like this little scope,but I only paid around 160-something for it new a while back. I'm just leery about dropping 4-500 plus on one of their higher end models.

Scott unless there is just something particular about the reticle or something you can't live without. I would b too I think . Im not saying they are a bad buy for the money , but there are scopes I would pick in front of them . Toe personally I truly like the low power vantage scopes when they can be had on sale for around 100$ . But when you start getting up into that Leupold Aztec Weaver Tactical type money . That's where I would lean .
