Airgun purchase VS my Credit Card Company

Having cards decline / red-flag is about as annoying as it gets..
I've had it happen a handful of times over the years just for making high dollar purchases..
Other times, purchases a long distance from where I lived [zip code used for the card]
Other times, purchases from other countries [This is a common one with Krale in The Netherlands]
With Krale, I've had both my PayPal Business CC and a few Business/Debit bank cards fail..
The guys at Krale gave me a heads up about that too..
In my case, PP and the bank saw an international transaction and the comp auto-flags for that..
Certain sales like guns, knives, pic, even CBD liquid is lumped under "High Risk"
so these stupid lending institutions have systems in place to inconvenience both buyers and sellers..
Anyways, a quick call and confirmation is usually all it takes to get them to push things through..

Actual Fire Arm wise - I've used a few different CC cards of mine at my old local gun shop,
and no issues.. split cash/cc transactions for rifles, ammo, etc. Never an issue..
[And they always know exactly what it is that the card is being used for] Big Brother is always watching..

Sam -

I don't know where you reside, but, remember...gov Cuomo of NY has vowed to "Break the NRA" and is attempting, in one way, to do it with controlling what the banking/lending institutions do in lending; he wants them to deny any lending to firearms/firearm related businesses.

that may. or may not, have influenced what happened.

California is doing similar things...as of July of this year, you have to undergo a background check simply to purchase ammo...😠
