So I was wondering if anyone on this forum knows if it's legal to hunt small game in Washington with an airgun.

Where do you live?"Mentolio"Careful, it may be better to "lump airguns in with slingshots," than to call them "firearms" like my state does. I can't buy one without a firearms ID card, MUST purchase it from an FFL holder, CAN'T have it shipped to my house, and absolutely must not be caught with a gun that is at all moderated for sound (regardless if it is manufactured that way or not, legally classified as a "silenced firearm" and is a 2nd degree felony just to possess). Only way for me to legally sell one within state lines is to transfer it to an FFL holder for shipping to another FFL holder (even out of state), which costs both parties more money. My state overreacts out of ignorance and fear...let's try to keep that to a minimum, please. It seems less likely that someone will break your stones over something perceived more along the lines of a slingshot (also illegal in my state, go figure) than some jerk wanting to make the "big bust" because he recognizes your Benjamin Trail as an opportunity to charge you with possession of a prohibited weapon/silenced firearm....sheesh!
UMMM it was in the link I provided"snakedoctor9"I just sent off an email to the wvdnr for info. I did not find one mention of air rifles in the regs.
A thread... and it's obvious you weren't aware"snakedoctor9"I wasn't aware I hijacked your thread.
gregSo, thinking to always carry printouts of those regulations with me.
