Other Airgun for Squirrel?

Hello, what small airgun would you recommend for front yard squirrel hunting? I have nuisance squirrels that have refused to get in the traps since last September, and now the nerve of them, they are courting to reproduce in my front yard! No, thank you! I need something that can finally end the squirrels, but won't ricochet into the neighbors' yards across the street if I miss.

My trap has been a Squirrelinator, with peanut butter, sunflower seeds, various fruits sometimes, etc. why won't they GET IN...

Also, I don't have very strong wrists, so I might avoid the pump action ones. But it's not like I'll be using a whole canister at a time, and those can get pretty expensive if just firing a few shots and then the rest of it leaks out from non-use. I don't know much about these things... and could use some advice.

Set up a "Table for One" on a tree in the back yard. It serves as a back stop as well. Then buy a Umarex Notos with a shoe box compressor, scope, scope rings and you're set. I would say all under $500. If you don't have a tree, pick up a stump at least 3 feet tall and about 2 feet wide then install the "Table for One" to the stump and you're set.

We have numerous squirrels around the house. My wife enjoys seeing small wildlife so much that we put out birdseed for not only birds but the squirrels along with dog food for raccoons and possums. If I were to start shooting the, she would probably beat me with my gun. Never have any of these little animals done any damage or tried scattering any trash.

I am fortunately in a similar situation. I have rabbits, groundhogs, squirrel, deer, the occasional bear... everybody's behaving, no need for anyone to die. For whatever reason the critters leave my garden alone (probably because I suck at gardening). I gave up on the birdfeeder though because it brought in starlings that would just eat up everything. I began to get the urge to shoot those, put away the birdfeeder instead... was thinking about using airsoft to specifically startle just the starlings but I'm not sure if that ends up being cruel

We get starlings, sometimes red - winged blackbirds in late winter, very early spring in large flocks so I just stop putting out birdseed for a few weeks. I can go out and just discharge my air rifle, or simply clap my hands and it scares them off, at least for a few hours. I used to see a lot of rabbits but no longer since hawks have made a comeback.. Years ago when my son, now 48 years old, was little we caught several little bunnies and put in an empty wading pool for him to play with. After he went to bed I went out and turnedthem loose and momma rabbit was close by to take them back to the woods
