Airgun benchrest question

https://www.usairriflebenchrest.com/

This link will help you much more for shooting 25m and 50yd bench rest. You will also find out how to order targets The only similarity to EBR is benches and targets. I can't help with where to shoot but I would also suggest starting with a good set of leather bags, front and rear if you are serious about shooting. http://protektormodel.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1&zenid=9d15970f7d5feb1535eabd98535e1e45

As for a mechanical rest and other accessories I would suggest you attend a few matches and try out other shooters setups. At least a few will let your try. Also if you were to contact the Match Director ahead of time he may have a complete setup for you to use before you buy anything. Be honest and it should work out.

Hi, I would like to give airgun benchrest a try. Can you use a bipod? What is a good rest to get started? Where can you get practice targeys?. They do 25 meter benchrest in the Seattle area, 3 hour drive.im a complete novice, thanks for your help!

Practice bench rest (BR) targets for 25m and 50 yards are available for free download at https://www.phoenixairgun.net/targets

Other downloadable targets are also listed, including practice targets for EBR 75 and 100.

For a real challenge try using a spring gun for 25 meter BR. It's just as hard as PCP use but in a different way.

Best wishes.

My advice is to just show up at one of the Seattle matches with rifle and bags or rest in hand. The folks there will be more than just glad to show you the ropes, and give advice on how to become better.

The biggest hurdle, I've found, is to get the courage just to show up to a match. Many are just not brave enough to show up until they do for the first time. Then, it becomes easy compete and become better shooters.
