Been shooting 100s of slugs out of my .308 texan. What are the maintenance item check list you guys use ?
I see they say not to use gun oil on the threads of the rifle. I noticed my gun is dirty need to clean it up for sure.
The other items includes barrel Cleaning ? I am shooting lead slugs how are you guys cleaning the barrels for these rifles ?
I am curious if there is any lead build up in the rifle pushing bullets at 1000 FPS ?
Any tips for extending the life of an airforce texan would be great ?
