Tuning Airforce texan - gauge issue?

I have a new airforce texan lss and an air venturi tank.

I fill the air venturi tank with a compressor, they both show 3000 psi.

If I fill the texan with the tank, the gauge on the rifle only shows 2200psi.

Could the gauge on the rifle be bad, or is there an adjustment somewhere on the rifle to allow more air in?

Is.there a way to empty the rifle tank and start from 0 psi again?

Thanks

Sound like a bad pressure guage. The stock ones are very questionable. Upgrade to something like this. Shop around for best price.

@shambozzie, where'd you find that gauge? Good ones are hard to find, and I know you run good stuff. Are the AirForce bottles 1/8" NTP threads? Any sealant needed?

I was thinking of putting a Sekhmet on an AirForce bottle... The tiny gauges AirForces uses are great for hunting, but for Long Range Shooting they're just about saying, "Yeah, there's air in there...." (laughing) BUT, then I realized Sekhmet uses rechargeable lithium cells, and in five years they might be dying a sudden death as the cell chemistry depletes. And Sekhmet seems to possibly be having some reliability issues while facing an inventory shortage issue.... So analogue might be the better way to go? Suggestions appreciated.

The Wika guages are excellent too, replaced the ugly stock one with one.
