Does anyone make or sell a moderator for the Texan .45 got someone interested in one but wanted to get it only if it can be quieted down a little.

I had one of those and it did bring down the volume quite a bit but it was still not acceptable for my backyard(wife). Without the shroud it sounds almost like a powder burner.

Thanks for all the replies. Personally I think the texan is to long to lug around in the woods. What would yall recommend for a airgun that'll kill deer. In states that are legal lol

I had a Slayer .357. It is putting out at 300 plus fpe. Light and compact, its a little loud but I am sure they have upgraded their moderator.

I've used a single tube sam yang dragon claw for the past two firearm deer seasons here in Michigan . The OAL is about 43" and it is plenty easy to get though the woods with . Have killed two doe with it with round ball . The muzzle is threaded for people who like to mess with those sorts of things .
