Interested to see where this goes Mike. I'm thinking I should retune my wife's Flash up to slug power and try some of the lower weight NSA and Zan.

Just one and a half dozen of Zan 10 & 13 to try out. Have 2 boxes of 10s. More 16g just got here but not in envelope. Have NSA 12.5s also.

IIRC, the 12.5 did not work in the Flash last time I tried. Though I didn't work the gun enough to get them to 950+ fps. From what I've read, people have had better luck with Zan at lower speeds, even down to 12 fpe. If the 10's work out, I'll be super happy. Getting those to 950+ doesn't require me to do any more work on the gun than I already have.

Had some 16g here already but not many and quickly ran out. At 650-700 they were great. I have more now so I'll try faster.

Combined with an order from PA. Wanted 10, 13, 16 & 20 Some how I ordered 2 boxes of 10 grainers and not the 20s. Plus a box of 12.5 nsa's off their site.

Made up a little tool to seat the slugs 
into the breach unti I could feel some resistance. First up were the Zan 13 grainers. They shot a whole lot better when seated 1/8" deep. Still not as good as pellets. Thats 5 shots 18 yards and my seating tool. I was real low on air so only 800 fps.

I'm still playing with slugs in my TalonP. I mentioned it earlier but seating the slugs deeper in the barrel is making a differance. Right now my home made seating tool is set at .140. I'm having pretty good luck with most of the slugs I have here. Some day I'll be close but probably will never figure it out.

I took out a crow at 35 yards with the NSA 12.5 gr. Hit him between the neck and breast. Glided from the tree then dropped like a rock. Not sure I could have done it with a domed 10.3 gr pellet. Didn't use a Talon P but wanted to say the NSA 177 work well for me.

I used Wolverine R, at 745 fps / 15.3 ft lbs. I am very particular about shot placement, which I know helped. I normally would shoot a .22 or .25 with a higher grain pellet/slug at a pest that large, but I didn't have the time to prepare that well.. These slugs decimate starlings at 50 yards.
