Other AirForce Knockoff First Look + Other Pinty Guns

Thanks for the tips. Changing tires is out today, I've a nasty sore throat and coughing, I'm hoping SWMBO permits going to my man cave and doing gun plumbing. I mostly take care of her, she wants to take care of me today. My cup of hot cocoa was just delivered, life is good despite the sore throat. I picked up a cheap chronograph on Temu I'm anxious to review, slightly smaller version of my old Chrony with LED light bars built in instead of the rube goldberg designed "skyscreens" of the old Chrony. I've shot a few across it so far and it works great...for 32 bucks.

Thank you very much thammer. Reprofiled my sear not quite as radically as your pic, but a greatly improved trigger is the result. Whatever they made those parts out of is some hard stuff. I reprofiled the sear and put a high polish on the engagement surfaces. I cut the parts with a diamond, and polished like crazy with Rouge and a rag wheel. I may tweak it even more, but usable now. Man that is a three handed assembly, thanks for the tip on the grease.

I have received my replacement rail for my P-Bullpup. Unfortunately the rear screw hole was not machined properly and I can not attach it properly to the gun. I have not been able to shoot this air rifle since I purchased it. Very disappointed.

Just be sure to trim the screw length properly and check that they have plenty of thread engagement. Mine came with the wrong rail and the rear screw stripped out in the receiver from being over tightened and too long. So it was bottoming out on the cocking rod from the factory. I ended up flipping the new correct rail around to utilize the other hole in the rear of the receiver that wasn't stripped. I'll have to retap and size up to spin it back around if I decide to in the future. I had a bunch of screws laying around from my RC parts and replaced all 3 as they were too short for the reduced recess on the new rail. Other than that I've completely disassembled and cleaned/lubricated all friction points with dry lubricant. Made the action 100% smoother, and i lightened up the trigger. Pretty pleased with the performance for the money. I put a 4x prism on her, bought it for my son to shoot and it'll be my squirrel gun this year.

Oh, man! Were you able to get Airforce directly involved at all to have THEM verify it's validity? Such a bummer trusting online purchases only to finally get that exciting gift (to yourself, haha ) in the mail and find that you've been duped! It's a nice looking piece, but I sure hope you got things squared away for your sake, time, and troubles, brother! I do have a legit .357 Texan SS, suped up, if you're interested. Tons of extras to go with it too. I truly hope you were able to get to the bottom of your purchase, man, even though it's a tight looking piece. Did you ever shoot it or just try to get it's validity solved first before running ammo through it?!
