AirForce Escape .25 Caliber

Lol well said tag forum is mainly talon guys i had a airforce escape it's decent for the price I changed the stock tank to a paint ball tank whitch has the same threads it's differant than the condor threads so airforce messed up it aloows u to use other tanks instead of their expensive tanks 22. Ci threads right in and almost doubled my shot count also rat sniper slugs mine loved for hunting I sold the gun was to loud but after I sold I I found a shroud for it sold by R&L

That's a nice gun, yeah it's a hard pcp world when everybody wants what Teddy has...;). However, when I first went looking for a nice pcp air gun. Airforce was what I bought. There actual nice guns. If they would just develop a multi shot gun I think they would fine a lot more customers. These days, loading one pellet after another just isn't popular anymore as the repeater. But for a hunting only type gun, I think there right with the best of them. For sure. Definatly lots of power. Best Steve

"Dan.C"I have not seen to many reviews or anything for that matter on this great rifle, would like to get it out there more, I have one and its great, accurate 100 fpe write out of the box, 15 good shots per fill great for a hunting rifle, What are your thoughts??
My first gun was the condor in .177. Liked the gun. It used to churn out eunjins 16 grain pellets at 900+ fps with superb accuracy. For those who like hunting, the condor is the best "one shot one kill gun" out there. It can be modded like crazy, enables barrel swaps and all in all is a super rifle. I let that one go since I didn't like the idea of resting my cheek on the tank. Got a Hassan AT 44 tactical and a bobcat later on. Once you get used to multishot rifles it's hard to go back to the condor. But it still remains one of the most versatile rifles out there. Guys have this modded to churn out 150 fpe using slugs and the gun shoots hole in hole at 120 yards easily with that kind of power. All in all a great rifle for hunters and power hungry shooters.

The 22 cubic inch tank has the same threads it will go on easy there's a utube video showing how to remove the valve using a vice and a bar 3/8" I used a friend and vise grips to hold the tank I put rubber under the vise grips not to scratch the tank and it pop right off also on eBay buy a new nanometer that reads up to 5k cause u can now fill to 3600 and it will ruin the stick gauge that way u can learn from my mistake and do it all at once since u will have everything de gased on eBay the gauge is 6 bucks or paintball store ten bucks

I owned an Escape .25 cal a couple years ago but sold it when I talked myself into needing a repeater. (HA)

Now, I am about to put my Benjamin Akela on the classifieds because I ordered an Escape UL .22 cal on Christmas Eve and just got shipping confirmation. It will be a nice compliment to my Condor .25 cal, and I will be all in Airforce.

Thats awesome. I just ordered mine on New years eve. I am so excited. Ive lost count how many times Ive checked my email looking for some kind of notification saying its shipped. I ordered mine with a quick change top hat installed so Im sure between that and the holidays its going to take a minute to ship..lol

I ordered a Condor in .25 about 5 days ago from AGD. It came in today and I mounted a scope on it and did some shooting. With the power adjuster set around 2 it is shooting FX slugs at 1090fps. I tried several different projectiles in it and got it near zero. All the reviews I saw on this gun were correct. It seems to be very accurate and powerful. It is a little loud but that isn't much of a problem. Donny FL can fix that. I was mainly looking for a hunting gun without a bunch of o rings to worry about. Hopefully this is the answer.

Once you go mag fed guns with regulators..is really hard to use a unregulated single shoot gun again..but that didn't mean I sold mine I just convert them in cast bullet shooter my 2 talon ss are now. 223 n .257 .. now that is a gun I love single shoot externally regulated...I crono my .223 today and is shooting 60g bullet at 950fps..enough for some long range plinking..not cheap conversions by the way easily they go more than 1,000+ only in parts without the cost of the gun..☹..but you doit piece by piece and you almost don't feel it..

I can understand that. Both of my other rifles have magazines but the problem is they are both a bit heavy. I started out looking for something that would be light weight simple for hunting. After a few hunting trips I realized that having 20+ shots available per fill was needed, that really what would be nice is 5-10 powerful accurate shots is what I wanted. I was first looking at the condor SS when a friend of mine said I should look at the Escape. Once I looked at the Escape I realized I found the rifle I was looking for. Im hoping once I get it that it performs as well as I read about.

Your Talon sounds like a beast for sure. Ive been seeing how many accessories and mods you can do to the airforce line of rifles and love the fact you can go as simple or as crazy as you want. You can also slowly build it up like you said too. Do you have any pictures of your Talon? Id love to see what you have built.

i recently sold a huben, and started working on an airforce. i really like the simplicity, and compared to almost every other air gun, it is feather light. i started with an UL .22

i've added an altaros regulator. MrP on this forum has the same one, with the additional plenum, and is still getting great power. the plenum just shipped today! i have a smaller bottle on the way, to account for the additional plenum. right now the power wheel adjusts this from 8-40 fpe. i am hoping i can keep the minimum around the same, or under 15 fpe for backyard shooting.

i've probably sunk the cost of the gun into it modifying it, but i've been able to make a pcp, exactly how i want it to be. here is its current format, will have a shorter bottle, and odd long plenum before it soon! it's also been nice knowing i can easily take apart the whole thing and service the orings without watching a million you tube videos.
