Some reviews have mentioned that the Condors/talons just are not really that accurate because of the design. The simple valve system on the bottles, the over aggressive hammer weights and springs, the trigger and then there is the scope mounting issues. Tim_mac air suggest removing some of the hammer weights and talks about the in accuracy because of the aggressive slamming of the valve that releases way more air than needed which contributes to excessive dwell time.
I wanted to get your take on if you have done any simple tunes or things to make your talon/condor more accurate.
Some of the items that has been mentioned in previous threads again this is not for power but more of an absolute accuracy tune...
1. Clean the Barrel.... For sure.
2. Put on an altros regulator.
3. Reduce the power wheel down to zero.
4. Reduce the hammer weights ??
5. Get a smoother trigger
6. Maddog stock because of flexing
Have you done any of the above and seen a drastic increase in accuracy ?
Have I missed anything as for as tuning or adding in things for better accuracy ?
Thanks
Jaydog.
